An excerpt from "The Bridges of Madison County"-Robert James Waller

"God or the universe or whatever one chooses to label the great systems of balance and order does not recognise Earth-time. To the universe few years is no different than four billion light years. We could have flashed by one another like two pieces of cosmic dust, never to meet."

We meet people because its is destined. Else in the canteen of our office, we could have missed each other by a few seconds. I could have been introduced to someone else. Known someone else. As said in the book "One", "there exist infinite worlds and there is a chance that we can land in any one of them." A universe which does not recognise Earth-time gifted us those few seconds.
